On the bus
Tickets on the bus can only be paid cashless with EC/Girocard, MasterCard, or Visa card, as well as conveniently via Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Tip: Use our prepaid payment card to easily and contactlessly pay for your ticket on the bus.

Conditions of carriage and fare regulations
When you start your journey, a contract of carriage is automatically concluded, which includes the following regulations:
- Verordnung über die Allgemeinen Beförderungsbedingungen (BefBedV)
- Gemeinsame Beförderungsbedingungen und Tarifbestimmungen des Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbundes (RMV) nebst Anlagen
- Besondere Beförderungsbedingungen des Verkehrsverbundes Mainz-Wiesbaden (VMW); In cases of doubt and contradictions, these take precedence over the RMV regulations.
- Tarifbestimmungen für das Deutschland-Ticket (gültig ab 01.01.2026)
