The Theater Family
From Florence via Tokyo to London—and finally back to Wiesbaden: Jun has lived in many places, but he and his family like Wiesbaden best of all. In the Hessian state capital, he, his wife Natalie, and her two sons, Vincent and Theo, feel especially connected to the state theater. All of them work there as extras, and Natalie has been doing so for 15 years. When she first joined the extras ensemble, she was instantly captivated.
“Once you’ve started, you do it for life—sometimes even across several generations,” Natalie says. She has passed that passion on to her husband and her two sons.
For this family of extras, the theater opens up an entirely different world—a world far removed from everyday life, a world that enchants them anew each and every time.
