Kurzstreckenticket

  • especially affordable tickets for short-distance trips in Wiesbaden and Mainz
  • only valid for immediate boarding
  • transfers permitted
  • single rides of up to three stops/stations (not further than 2 km)
  • cannot be used for DB train trips (exception: DB trip between “Mainz Hauptbahnhof” and “Mainz Römisches Theater”)
  • most stops/stations are equipped with signs indicating which stops/stations are served by the short-distance ticket from that stop/station
